Guys are pretty good at remembering the essentials: tie, dress shirt, pants, etc. but don’t usually think of small accessories. Accessorizing is more a girl’s thing. If you are looking for a wedding gift that he can wear on the day of, here are 3 ideas that will top off his look and help him feel confident & classy for the big day.
1. A classic watch.
This doesn’t have to break the bank but it will add another clean and simple element to his outfit. Plus, once he straps that bad boy on, he's gonna feel like a million bucks. For our wedding, Kaelyn bought me a MVMT watch in brown and I still wear it today! I think I stand a little taller on days when I wear it. (These photos of us were taken by Catie Scott.)
2. Cuff-links or pocket squares.
Again, these are an even smaller detail, but they turn a nice wedding wardrobe into a great one. If you are having a more formal wedding, this could be just the right gift. The right pair of cuff-links or a pocket square will separate the men from the boys.
3. Shoes.
Every guy has them. Every guy has to wear them. Like I said earlier, guys don’t accessorize and we definitely would never use that word. But, guys like shoes. I know a lot of “shoe guys.” Most of whom are athletes. Take a basketball player for instance. Do you have any idea how many wild pairs of “kicks” they have? It’s kind of crazy. At the same time, the right pair of shoes really helps a guy to put his best foot forward. Sorry, I couldn’t resist the pun. (I'm working on my Dad jokes ;)
