It’s only taken them a little over a year to realize they are the perfect match! They complement each other so well. He’s more outgoing while she’s a little more reserved. When you are with them, they make you feel welcomed and valued!
Benson Park was the perfect backdrop for their engagement session. Nate grew up in the area so it was a special place he knew well. It’s hard to believe that it used to be a zoo! Since this was one of the first warm, non-rainy days we’ve had this Spring, there were lots of people walking dogs, enjoying the fresh air, kids throwing rocks in the pond, and even others having their photos taken! That made the session a little more exciting as we tried to make it look like we were the only ones there, but it was totally worth it!
The sparkle in their eyes when they look at each other, the tender way they hold each other’s hand, and the laughter they shared together are some of the reasons that engagement sessions are my favorite! For those of you who aren’t fans of having your photos taken, I promise you’ll have fun in our sessions! We give you enough direction to feel comfortable, while giving you the freedom to be yourselves and laugh your way through the session. When we finished taking photos, Nate even said he had fun! That’s a win in my book! It’s our goal that you feel relaxed and have fun on all our sessions.
